What kind of large dog would be best for us?

But we are a little confused when it comes to the breed of dog we want because we hear about dogs that have bad temperments and are not good with children. We have three children ages are 10, 7, 5. Well, to tell you how ‘crazy’ he can be… He visits my moms house who has a Cairn terrier, and he pulls her leg hairs and tail hairs just to get a rise out of her until she snaps then he runs away and runs back to do it all over again. We’re working on obedience now…
