Is our new dog affecting our old dogs behavior?

We just got a puppy (a weenie dog) about 2 months ago, and ever since he came into the picture, our dog of 5 years (a pitbull) started chewing up EVERYTHING with the puppy!!!!! Kayla our pitbull hasn’t chewed up anything since she was a puppy herself, and now since the new puppy came into the picture, she goes and find things for her and the puppy to chew on!!! We give kayla tons and tons of attention and if we are petting the puppy, we are petting her too. How can i get them BOTH to stop, and why did this start!?!??!@
kayla and the puppy are good buddies, but she does dominate him a lot and takes his toys and chews them up. Does anyone know how to stop this? Do i have to call the dog whisperer? LOL

Can acupuncture be used to treat behavior problems in dogs?

I heard the end of a story on NPR recently about acupuncture being used to treat behavior problems in dogs. Has anybody heard anything about this, and if so what?

Gypsy is a 7yr old Pit Bull/Labrador Mix. She is normally very obedient. However, she has been acting strange the last few days. After her walk she is usually tired and ready to go back into the backyard. Lately though she refuses to back inside. She wants me to keep walking her. Last night was tug of war. I leterally had to pull her in. I lost my patience and scolded her. I then felt bad because someone told me she’s doing this because she’s in heat. I don’t know if this is true. I have only had her since december and have never owned a female dog. She’s spayed. Can someone help me please!!!

What are my legal rights when an inconsiderate neighbor will not take steps to stop his dog barking?

I have a small dog that all he does is bark….it’s driving me crazy and it gets my big dog barking too!! My lab doesn’t bark unless someone is here….the little one barks just to hear himself, so it gets the big one going.
He is crate trained already and will bark even while in there.
